Die Decision Base Simulation ist fixer Bestanteil in unserem internen Mitarbeiterentwicklungsprogramm. The Apple & Orange Simulation helps me to understand the financial operation of a company by a popular and easy “game”. The theoretical and practical knowledge will continue to affect me in my future daily work : to understand the company strategy better, to use the budget in efficient way, etc. Big appreciation to Ms. Paris to introduce this useful tools to us.

Wibke Paris führte mit konzentrierter und hochprofessioneller Herangehensweise durch meinen Positionierungsworkshop. Sie kann sich hervorragend auf die Bedürfnisse ihres Gegenübers einlassen und durch ihren immerwährenden Fokus und ihre empathische Art waren wir in der Lage, sehr effektiv und zielführend zu arbeiten. Ich werde sie für mein nächstes Workshop Projekt mit Sicherheit wieder buchen.)

Wir haben mehrere Cash Trainings „Apples & Oranges“ zusammen mit Frau Paris durchgeführt. Die Lehrgänge wurden durch Frau Paris sehr interessant gestaltet, so dass die Teilnehmer aktiv den Lehrstoff selbst erarbeiten und damit in der Lage sind, das Gelernte auch in ihrem Arbeitsalltag umzusetzen und anzuwenden. Auf die Teilnehmer wurde individuell eingegangen und es wurde dadurch eine positive Atmosphäre geschaffen, die alle Beteiligten mit ins Boot holte. Dies ist aus meiner Sicht besonders wichtig, da Trainings allzu oft nur als Pflichtveranstaltungen angesehen werden und der gewünschte Effekt dann nicht erreicht wird. Wir werden auch in Zukunft mit Sicherheit weitere Trainings veranstalten.

The Apple & Orange Simulation is an interesting course which uses a vivid way to not only introduce the financial terminologies but also explain the relationship between balance sheet and income statement. The interactive way of learning provides us deep understanding about the financial figures. It is a valuable course for us to walk into this field.

As one of my EMBA tour in Germany, I took a course of business simulation provided by Ms. Wibke Paris from Apples & Oranges Simulation. I was so nice to have this course and I had appreciated very much of what Ms. Tesch have taught and led me and other peers through a fantastic business simulation game. It was like a journey to lead us step by step into the world of business operations, as I believe most of my peers have begun to like this game even interested in knowing more about how finance could drive the business. I even reflected my learning journey after I came back from Germany, it is not merely a simulation game but a real-life experience, which enable me to think in a broad view from financial perspective.
